Lenders and Debt Collectors

We’re going to start with a more in depth look at debt collectors. We’re in fact working on putting together a package of materials that will help you present the debt-collectors worst nightmare…..a lawsuit under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (and related state statutes).

Once we are able to roll that out for you, we’ll spend a lot more time addressing various kinds of lenders and how you can deal with them. And there are a lot more ways than you think. Why? Because this whole area is rife with so many illegal and unethical practices that when you know how to fight back and go after these guys, it becomes like shooting fish in a barrel.

At the same time, in fairness, we would point out that the best cure is often prevention. We can help you fight back after the fact, but also be aware, that we would rather see you not having to fight at all, by avoiding out of the gate, some of unscrupulous practices and products out there.

Remember, knowledge is power, and unscrupulous lenders and debt collectors can only thrive where there is lack of knowledge and lack of information. Obviously, it’s best to not incur debt at all, but sometimes it can’t be helped. There are a lot of resources on the internet that will help you make decisions about loan and financial products. One that we like best is Lend Edu. They provide a tremendous amount of information about loans and financing and more importantly, about the kinds of unscrupulous practices associated with different kinds of loans. While we can help you after the fact, well, just remember the old adage “an ounce of prevention…..”

So please stay tuned. We’re going to have a video and some stuff available soon on our website that I think, if you’ve got some lender or debt collection issues, you’re going to like!!
